Review of Agritechnica 13-19 November 2011

According to the organisers, Agritechnica 2011 in Hanover took on a completely new dimension with 415,000 visitors and an exhibition area of 320,000 m2. The worldwide significance of farming and agricultural technology was impressively demonstrated. Pöttinger was there with a modern and attractive stand that more than met the expectations of the world's meeting place in the farming industry.

In addition to field-proven highlights, Pöttinger also presented innovations for the 2012 season, such as the TOP 722 rake, the new TERRASEM C6 fertilizer seed drill with direct fertilization and the JUMBO special edition. This giant in designer clothing was fitted with all the kit that gets an ag-tech engineer's heart racing: for the 'autocut' automatic knife sharpening system to the 'cover plus' load cover system. The traditional press conference was attended by a huge crowd. More than 70 international journalists listened with interest to the Pöttinger management report.

Many visitors plundered the merchandising shop and enthusiastically purchased Pöttinger-design clothing, toys, bags and accessories.

The atmosphere at the show was excellent – both with the exhibitors and the visitors. The fascination of agricultural technology was breathtaking.
